Ron Haroon

Fuel Management Technology Manager

Ron Haroon is an industry veteran with 10 + years of experience in Fuel Management Technology (FMT) and Project Management, with a strong emphasis on developing customer need based monitoring solutions.

His journey in the fuel industry began in 2007 when he started as a manager for Chevron retail fueling. Serving there for over a year – he moved on to a national fuel distributor and served as a senior analyst. He helped on-board customer sites, managed projects, and developed solutions to monitor fuel equipment for customers like Waste Management, Republic Services, Pepsi, Kinder Morgan, etc.

Ron joined DES as the Manager of the Fuel Management Technology department to bring his considerable experience to bear for customers.

Mike Dayton

Commercial Technology Manager

Mike has served 35 years in business management, dedicated to building diverse and effective teams and managing the flow of data to provide those teams with tools to anticipate and solve problems. He has worked in the service, education, accounting, engineering and telecommunications fields in a variety of management roles. He has been in the petroleum industry for 15 years, with a focus on process improvement, modernizing the flow of transaction data, team building and training.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Brenau University.

Mike is married and has three children and one grandchild. He is an avid cook and makes it a point to befriend every farmer at the local market. A Georgia Master Beekeeping Certified beekeeper and volunteer with three local bee clubs and the Georgia Beekeepers Association, he is an advocate for honey bees and native pollinators. He frequently teaches and speaks on topics concerning pollinator behavior and health.

Randy Grizzle

Director, Business Development

Randy Grizzle is a fuel industry veteran that brings over 15 years of experience in service to his customers. Randy’s fuel industry career began in the accounting department of a national fuel distributor while completing his undergraduate degree. After several years outside of industry, Randy returned to the distributor managing their commercial operations team. Randy later transitioned to the commercial and industrial sales team where he served for over ten years.

Randy’s experience spans accounting, corporate strategy, operations management, sales, and business development. His customers benefit from this breadth of experience through the creation of custom programs designed to meet their specific goals and challenges. In his role as Director, Business Development, Randy manages varying aspects of new growth opportunities, go to market strategy, customer experience and program development.

Randy holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in finance. Randy’s time outside of work is spent with his wife of over 20 years and their three children.

Amy Stickel

Supply Manager

Amy Stickel has been working in the fuel industry for over 20 years. Amy has been mentored in logistics by the best in the industry since 2000.

She specializes in operations and making sure we are hiring the best suppliers, carriers, and vendors to take care of our customers.

Amy has experience in logistics, dispatching, managing inventories in fuel tanks, operations management, working with developers on systems design, back office operations, and business expansion with the federal government. She loves having quality time with her husband of 18 years, and her two children.

Fernando de Agüero

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. de Agüero possesses a broad energy industry experience ranging from petroleum commodity supply to regulated utilities to deregulated merchant and retail energy. He has launched six privately held energy ventures, was Chairman, CEO and President of a deregulated retail natural gas marketer, Manager and CEO of a deregulated retail electric provider, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of a leading smart grid-enabled prepaid utility solutions and software development company and held various leadership roles spanning strategic planning, finance, business development, commercial operations and trading at AGL Resources (Atlanta Gas Light, Virginia Natural Gas, City Gas of Florida, Elizabethtown Gas, Chattanooga Gas, Pivotal and Sequent Energy Management), Mirant Corporation and Southern Company (Southern Nuclear and Southern Company Services).

Mr. de Aguero built and launched Mansfield Power and Gas, the power and natural gas company affiliate to Mansfield Oil Company. Mr. de Agüero previously led the team that designed and built the first prepaid retail natural gas billing platform in North America, the first smart-metered prepaid electric billing platform, as well as other software based solutions in the utility vertical. He has been involved in several power plant development projects and corporate acquisitions with negotiated valuations totalling over $10 Billion in both the natural gas and electric industries.

Mr. de Agüero started his career with Southern Company in 1993, working in nuclear plant design engineering and safety as a nuclear engineer and mechanical engineer, as well as a health physicist. He earned a Bachelor in Nuclear Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He speaks Spanish fluently, has a history of political and community involvement, and invests most of his personal time with his wife, four children and church family in Roswell, Georgia.

Allison Sheffield de Aguero

President & CEO

Allison Sheffield de Aguero is a third-generation petroleum fuel businesswoman. Upon completing her undergraduate education, she entered the workforce as an international sales representative selling engineering equipment and software in the Latin American market. She completed her graduate work in 2003. Beginning in 2004, Allison and her husband pursued entrepreneurial ventures in retail energy (both power and natural gas).

During the period between 2011 and 2014, she focused on marketing efforts to build Diversified Energy Supply into a nationwide wholesale petroleum, electric power and natural gas supplier.

During 2014 she assumed the role of CEO and sole member and has further shaped the strategic direction of the company by expanding its fuel supply business line and scaling the operational platform into 40+ states. She is married and the proud mother of four children.

Lori Adkison

Operations Analyst

Lori Adkison has over 20 years as a legal assistant with medical malpractice and workers’ compensation law firms. In this capacity Lori served as the liaison between the law firm and insurance companies. Lori was also responsible for keeping the client files organized and billing the lawyer’s time.

Lori joined Diversified Energy Supply in 2015 where her skills helped the company obtain the various licenses needed to operate a national fuel network. Presently, Lori supports billing operations. She also serves as the liaison between Diversified Energy Supply and its carrier and supply partners. Lori’s personable but professional approach helps Diversified build and maintain strong supply relationship that are critical in delivering excellent service to Diversified’s customers.

She enjoys spending time with her husband of 18 years and two children.

Cheryl Coker

Customer Experience Manager

Cheryl Coker’s career in the industry began in 1984 where she served as the Director of Audit for the Kangaroo Convenience Stores for sixteen years. After the sale of Kangaroo to The Pantry, Cheryl owned and operated a local Sears department store for five years.

In 2007 Cheryl returned to the fuel industry as an Account Manager for a national fuel distributor. Cheryl’s role was to oversee the daily activity of the customer accounts in her care. She was also responsible for ensuring new customers and activities were executed in accordance to agreements.

Cheryl joined the Diversified Energy Supply team in May of 2017 as the Customer Experience Manager allowing Diversified to make full use of her passion for customer care. Cheryl helps Diversified Energy Supply live up to its promises by understanding and responding to customer needs. Cheryl’s experience, passion and dedication are invaluable tools in helping Diversified prove to its customers that they have a partner on whom they can depend.

Brenda Rozell

Operations Analyst

Brenda Rozell has a legal background that spans almost 20 years, working as a paralegal in various areas of the law, including business and real estate.

Brenda supports billing operations at Diversified.

Brenda enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Camie Ward

Accounting Manager

With over 18 years of accounting experience in the Employee Benefits Insurance industry as a Senior Accountant, Camie Ward has spent 12 of those years with one of the top Middle Market Insurance firms Wells Fargo Insurance and Consulting, now USI Insurance.

She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Loyola University Chicago and was an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants Mentoring program as a Mentor.

This Chicago native is a super fan for her beloved team “da BEARS” . Besides football, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.

William Brumbelow

Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect with over 23 years’ experience in computing and software engineering. Well versed and proven real-world experience in every phase of the systems development and delivery life cycle. Designed, developed and delivered systems and applications that span the full spectrum of technology platforms, complexity, scalability, and size.

William has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies over a long and successful consulting career with multiple consulting firms. He has executed every role within the consultancy profession to include Principal Consultant (firm partner), Enterprise Architect, System Architect, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Software Engineer. William also has extensive experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) to include; weapons systems, new technology research, Reliability Modeling, Mean Time to Failure Analysis, Electronic Warfare, Aircraft Simulators, and MIL-SPEC data systems development.

William earned his education while on active duty with the United States Air Force. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Park College in Missouri and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Due to his formal education, and industry experience, he has authored software development policies and procedures to conform to the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). William has authored standards and methodology documentation at the enterprise level and implemented at the organizational level.

Dan Stickel

Director, Information Technology

Dan Stickel has been solving IT problems since a child. His career turned to IT in 2008 when he started as a systems administrator.

Over the next 10 years Dan worked on a diverse set of IT opportunities including a multi-million-dollar fiber WAN deployment, multiple physical to virtual system wide conversions, state wide firewall deployment, and travelled the nation providing network focused professional services.

He earned a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology through the University of Phoenix in 2013. Dan loves to travel with his wife and two children when not tinkering in his home shop.

Thom Hoover

Senior Sales Executive

Mr. Hoover is an innovative Sales Executive with thirty plus years of experience in every aspect of the petroleum industry and is extremely successful in achieving cost reductions and increasing client satisfaction in customer-facing operations.

Thom has a unique talent for analyzing competitive landscape, conducting research and aligning product offerings with customer requirements which translates into lower product procurement, development and implementation costs. He has a reputation as a change agent with the ability to analyze issues, devise continuous process improvements, and incorporate business process outsourcing initiatives to increase efficiency, streamline operations, team communications and decrease aggregate expenses with limited resources.

Mr. Hoover has been featured in various trade publications, newspapers and served as Vice President of the Detroit’s “Oilmen’s Association, Six-Sigma “Green Belt” and currently a Fourth Degree – Knight of Columbus.

His education consists of a degree from Rosedale College and various collegiate courses in:

  • ISO-9001:2008 – Quality Management Systems & ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Systems
  • Dale Carnegie – Highest Achievement Award as well as becoming an assistant Instructor
  • Crosby Quality College – Instructor certified in “Quality Performance & Training

When Thom is not engaged in the fuel business, he is spending time with his wife of 29 years and son at the beach, on a golf course, in the gym or fishing and one of his deepest passions besides his Faith and his Family is his many accomplishments as an avid Archer.

Sales Executive

Tom’s 12 years of professional experience consists of administrative responsibilities and team management in the fields of sales, creative marketing and branding, multimedia communications, and community relations. He has a demonstrated history of cultivating successful business opportunities and improving customer relations.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Tom excelled in various roles in the sports industry, quality improvement, and served as a professor for two college courses.

Prior to joining the Diversified Team in 2019, Tom spent over five years working in the fuel industry for a family-owned and operated energy company, overseeing their Sales & Marketing Department. Outside of acquiring new business development opportunities, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their son and twin daughters.

Robert Fiscus

Controller

Robert has been working in the fuel industry for 9 years, beginning his career at a national distributor as a liaison between Operations and Accounting, functioning to mitigate risk exposure and analyze market, sales, and financial data.

His responsibilities later transitioned into a management role in accounting with an emphasis on fuel inventory and sales. He also served as a senior accountant in the Southeast division of the largest independent terminal/pipeline operator in the U.S. where he specialized in capital projects, terminal throughput, and additives. His industry experience spans accounting, operations, process development, P&L analysis, and customer service. Presently he oversees excise and sales tax compliance and reporting.

Robert earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of North Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, working on cars/motorcycles, sports, and the outdoors.

Lizette Montalvo

Payables and Receivables Analyst

Lizette's career began in the insurance industry where she worked in claims with a concentration on the most sensitive clients. She assumed increasingly more responsibilities and transitioned to analyzing and reporting on claims’ quality and employee productivity. She later moved into quality and controls to ensure accurate identification, processing and payment of producer commissions.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Spanish from Georgia State University.

In her free time, Lizette enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter. She also leads worship in at her church, Temple of Praise.

History

We began serving customers as a wholesale natural gas supplier. We successfully launched wholesale power operations within two years. In 2011 the organization created Diversified Fuel Supply, a petroleum fuel subsidiary and sold an equity stake to a strategic oil sector investor. The equity in its subsidiary was repurchased In 2014, and subsequently merged Diversified Fuel Supply into its parent company, DES Wholesale, LLC dba Diversified Energy Supply.

Today the organization is operated as a consolidated energy supply solution for our customers. We have grown at a triple digit pace annually for the first 7 years. We have no debt and enjoy strong supply relationships with the largest national energy companies.
